Senior Backend Developer / Tech Lead (Russian and English speaker)

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to lead one of the most impactful transitions in our company's history: consolidating 15 Shopify stores into a unified, scalable, appfirst architecture. This isn't a maintenance role. You'll shape technical direction, work directly with product and business, and have real ownership from day one. What You'll Work O Design and build scalable backend systems on AWS • Centralize user authentication and order management across multiple Shopify stores • Integrate legacy systems into a unified app-based architecture • Contribute to the Breeze mobile app ecosystem Lead key initiatives including: o Multi-store order management consolidation o AI chatbot integration (SuperChat) o Dynamic bundle builder for multi-destination travel • Leverage AI tools daily to accelerate development and problemsolving Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and partner teams Tech Stack Cloud: AWS • eCommerce: Shopify (multi-store) Data & Marketing: PostHog, Klaviyo • AI Tools: GitHub Copilot, Claude, Lovable APIs: eSIM Go API and third-party integrations Engineering Culture We're AI-first by default, not as a buzzword, but as a daily practice. Requirements What We're Looking For • 5+ years of full-stack development experience Strong backend expertise (~70% backend / 30% frontend split) Proven ability to thrive in startup or high-growth environments Solid understanding of scalable architectures and API design Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools eCommerce or Shopify experience is a strong plus Independent, ownership-driven mindset — you don't wait to be told what to do Soft Skills That Matter!
