Senior Software Engineer

Design, develop, maintain, and support multiple mission-critical cloud platform components that enable Ford ’s connected vehicle capabilities. Own end-to-end delivery of software services powering critical customer experiences, as well as the platform infrastructure that supports them. Act as a domain owner for critical services, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, leading root-cause analysis for high-severity incidents, and driving long-term reliability, observability, and performance improvements across the platform. Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for complex, distributed systems within the device connectivity platform, influencing design decisions, setting engineering standards, and ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, and secure. Mentor other engineers, contribute to technical reviews, knowledge sharing, and best practices, while partnering closely with product, operations, and cross-platform teams to align technical execution with business and regulatory priorities.
