The Job Details: The Continuous Improvement Analyst will evaluate operational processes for purpose of identifying and executing improvement initiatives. This individual must have a sound knowledge of warehouse and distribution processes, and the use of technology-based solutions to increase productivity, quality, and service levels. Also, this position requires that the individual possesses the abilities to train all levels of employees on best practices as well as new technology and tools. This individual must have the ability to analyze operational processes, document prospective solutions, and present these solutions to upper management personnel. Responsibilities: Work with 40+ facilities within the USCS network to drive efficiencies within everyday warehouse processes Work with a team of analysts to react and provide real time analysis for any of the 40+ facilities Identify and explain best practice deviations and provide recommendations for corrections Provide rollout support and training for new technology or system functions Become proficient in business applications such as Power BI to provide clean visual data to various departments Become an expert in USCS’s warehouse management system and be able to train other employees Rollout and train operations employees on new technology and system changes Use traditional continuous improvement methods to justify and replicate cost savings projects across the network The Job Specifics: Location and Department: Remote (Camden, NJ based), Continuous Improvement Reports To: CIT Supervisor Travel Amount: 25%-50% Full-Time, Exempt Salaried, Bi-Weekly Paid Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00/yr. What We Are Looking For: The Ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications. Education: Degree in Supply Chain or a similar field (equivalent business experience will be considered) Qualifications: Excellent analytic skills Knowledge of operational process At least two (2) years of warehouse operational experience Ability to travel throughout the year up to 50% Excellent written and verbal skills Ability to communicate effectively Preferred Qualifications: Ability to schedule own tasks and handle all facets of assigned projects independently and with minimal supervision. Effective skills in the Microsoft Suite: Excel, Power BI, Copilot, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook The Standard Details: Always maintain a professional demeanor in appearance and communications. Participate in staff and/or customer meetings as required. Take initiative to prevent non-conformities related to product, process, and quality systems. Identify and report any issues related to product, processes, and/or quality. Propose and implement solutions through appropriate channels. Ensure solutions are effectively implemented.
