Our Core Values: Collaborative Driven Transparent Innovative Customer Centric The Role We'relooking for a Senior Technical Consultant/Developer who can design, build, and deploy customizations and integrations across SAP Business One and Acumatica.You'lltake technical requirements from discovery through development, testing, and deployment, working closely with functional consultants and project managers to deliver robust, maintainable solutions. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys deep technical problem-solving, hands-on coding, andowningdeliverables from design throughgo-live. What You'll Do Design, develop, and deploy customizations for SAP Business One (SDK, Service Layer, DI API, UDFs/UDTs, add-ons) and Acumatica (customization projects, generic inquiries, business events, integrations) Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs Build andmaintainintegrations with third-party systems (e.g., e-commerce, EDI, tax engines like Avalara/Avatax, CRM, WMS) Configure core ERP modules (financials, inventory, sales, purchasing, production) to align with client processes Write andmaintaincustom scripts, reports (Crystal Reports, SSRS), and workflow automations Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and post-go-live support Document customizations, technical specifications, and configuration decisions for long-term maintainability Collaborate with project managers and functional consultants to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery Provide upgrade remediation support, assessing the impact of platform upgrades on existing customizations What You Bring 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Business One development (SDK, DI API, Service Layer) or Acumatica customization (experience with both strongly preferred) Proficiencyin C#, .NET, SQL (T-SQL), JavaScript; familiarity with Acumatica'sxRPframework a plus Solid understanding of core ERP business processes: financials, inventory, order-to-cash,procure-to-pay Experience integrating ERP systems with external platforms via APIs, web services, or middleware Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently under project deadlines Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications Experience working within a consulting or VAR environment is a plus Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) Nice to Have SAP Business One and/or Acumatica certification(s) Experience with tax integration platforms (Avalara/Avatax) Familiarity with EDI and e-commerce integrations Prior experience supporting multi-tenant or hosted/private server environments Experience with Boyum products, specifically Be.as Why Softengine Work across a diverse portfolio of clients and industries — no two projects are the same Deepen yourexpertiseacross two major ERP platforms rather than being siloed into one Collaborative team environment with direct exposure to the full project lifecycle Originally posted on Himalayas
