We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Insurance Verification Coordinator to help ensure customers understand their coverage and benefits for speech-generating devices and related accessories. In this role, you'll work directly with insurance providers, customers, and internal teams to verify benefits, calculate patient responsibility, and support timely access to life-changing communication solutions. Customer Impact: Play a key role in helping customers understand their insurance benefits and financial responsibility. Duties and Responsibilities Verify insurance coverage, benefits, deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, and benefit limits for customers Communicate with insurance providers through online portals, phone calls, and third-party systems to obtain accurate benefit information Calculate and communicate estimated out-of-pocket costs to customers Document and maintain accurate benefit information within company systems Collaborate with internal teams to support timely and accurate processing of benefit verifications Resolve benefit verification discrepancies while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in insurance verification, medical billing, healthcare administration, or a related field is strongly preferred. Required Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Proficiency with computer systems and data entry applications Knowledge of insurance terminology, benefit verification processes, and medical coding preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality Salary: $16- $20 Originally posted on Himalayas
