Job Description

A DAY IN THE LIFE Serves as a senior project-level scheduling resource for assigned projects, providing advanced expertise to support internal and external scheduling requirements. Supports Blattner Operations Project Management teams through creation, modification, and analysis of resource loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) project schedules and earned value related dashboards and metrics. Meets and exceeds Client's expectations according to contractual schedule requirements. Works with the project management team to update the project schedule as needed and according to Blattner procedures. Works with the Project Manager and legal department to ensure project schedule supports contract requirements. Provides technical guidance, peer review support and informal mentoring to P6 Planner/Schedulers as needed. STEP INTO THE ROLE Builds initial resource loaded baseline schedule for multiple complex projects ensuring compliance with Critical Path Method (CPM) best practices, contract requirements and Blattner expectations and supports earned value measurement. Provides peer review input on baseline schedules developed by P6 Planner/Schedulers to support client submittal preparation. Assists in developing and maintaining comprehensive integrated master project schedules including Front-end Loading, Detail Design, Procurement, Construction and Start-up/Commissioning Project Stages. Utilizes P6 health check and Acumen Fuse to validate schedule against applicable DCMA metrics. Performs schedule risk analysis and provides risk insights and data to support project risk management discussions. Performs critical path analysis to identify problem areas and presents schedule impact findings and potential options for project team consideration. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field; or equivalent education or relevant experience required. 5 or more years of experience in project scheduling or a combination of experience in construction and/or planning and scheduling. Ability to travel up to 25%. WHAT SETS YOU APART Previous scheduling experience in the renewable energy industry. Expert with scheduling software (Primavera, Microsoft Project).
