We are looking for a Type Training Instructor to join our Training team remotely from the Asia-Pacific region, preferrably from Malaysia, the Philippines or Indonesia. The Type Training Instructor is responsible for conducting the theoretical and practical training according to the approved programs and within the scope of approvals. The Instructor works closely with Training team to achieve delivery of trainings in compliance with the current aviation regulations as well as high customer satisfaction. Main responsibilities Deliver theoretical and practical aircraft type training in accordance with approved training programmes, EASA Part-147 and Part-66 requirements, and company standards, both on-site and online Conduct training activities across Asia, travelling to customer locations as required to support training delivery and customer needs Support examination activities, including acting as an examiner or invigilator, and contribute to the development of examination question banks Assist with course planning and the continuous improvement of training syllabi, training needs analyses (TNAs), and training materials Collaborate with the training team to ensure high-quality training delivery, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer satisfaction while maintaining personal competency and instructor approvals Main Requirements Relevant aviation education with at least 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience and 3 years of aircraft type training instructor experience under EASA Part-147 and Part-66, or an equivalent regulatory framework Valid EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence or an equivalent licence issued by a national aviation authority, with experience on A320 and B737 aircraft types (additional type ratings are an advantage) Strong knowledge of EASA Part-66, Part-147, ICAO requirements, and aircraft maintenance training principles Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver technical training to diverse audiences and a willingness to travel extensively within Asia Professional fluency in English, strong computer skills, and a proactive, organized, and results-oriented approach to work What We Offer A range of company benefits, support for an active and healthy lifestyle, employee discounts, and company events Opportunity to work in one of the most attractive and fast-growing global industries in the world – aviation A fast track to both personal and professional growth in a challenging and rewarding environment A great team with diverse backgrounds and true aviation fans A culture of trust that empowers you Ready to take your career to the next level and make a real impact in the aviation industry?
