Estimator (USA Remote, US)

Position Overview dormakaba is seeking an Estimator (remote) based in the US Midwest or on the East Coast. The Estimator will work with Outsides Sales, vetting plans and specification documents, quoting, and conducting scope reviews with team members. Responsibilities will also include working with customers to drive sales and maximize customer satisfaction, and to build repeat business and additional market share. HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $70,000 - $105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) plus quarterly bonus eligibility. What you will do Read, evaluate, and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and addenda Identify relevant project requirements and opportunities by reviewing documentation for accuracy, completeness, special conditions, and bid deadlines Coordinate project communication with Sales, Installation, Customer stakeholders, and design professionals, including responding to daily customer service calls and securing internal support to ensure solutions are complete and technically accurate Plan, organize, prioritize, control, and execute the estimating effort Create accurate and detailed submittal packages, managing the approval process from submittal through to Project Management handoff What we require 2+ years construction estimating or project management experience High school diploma Salesforce or other CRM system experience MS Office Suite proficiency What we prefer Experience in the architectural building materials or construction industry College degree Customer Service experience What we offer Taking Care of our Employees on Day One with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
