Role overview Remote Recruitment is hiring an IT Helpdesk Agent to support the staff of a UK-based employer as part of a fully remote team. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues, helping people get back to work quickly and calmly. This is a 100% remote role for South African talent, working UK business hours (09:00–17:00 UK time / 11:00–19:00 SAST). Key responsibilities Respond to first-line IT support requests by chat, email and phone Troubleshoot common hardware, software and account issues Log tickets and track them through to resolution Guide users through fixes in clear, plain language Escalate complex problems to senior engineers What you'll need Experience with IT support or helpdesk work Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365 and ticketing tools Patience and clear communication with non-technical users Good written and spoken English A quiet home workspace with reliable internet What's on offer A salary of R16,000–R20,000 per month, fully remote work, and a team that supports your development.
